As part of the worldwide Special Olympics movement, North Carolina Special Olympics supports a variety of activities throughout the year.  We host local events as well as supporting local athletes as they compete in Regional, State, National and International games.  Participation is open to anyone 8 years and older  with intellectual disabilities.

North Carolina Special Olympics in Lee County is coordinated  by a volunteer committee. 

Sports currently offered in Lee County:

There are 18 sports offered at the State level so our local program has a lot of opportunity to grow.
